really!

A critical commentary is a scholarly examination of the text in the original languages. This is not that.

Every field of study requires peer review. In theology, peer review is so weak that anyone can say almost anything. Here, we look at what is being said and ask —not does it square with other experts—but does it square with Scripture?

 it’s about them

We moved to Romania to be with the children in the orphanage.

Posts are below, sorted by date. Click on a title or choose a category from the table of contents.

You can search on a word or phrase

or look up by the date of the post

Articles are accompanied by photos of places we've been. The intention is to add another dimension to the web site, not to illustrate the theme of the article. Still, if you have not seen a Romanian village or a sunset off the coast of India,  you might find them interesting.

At the bottom of each article is a list of topics and Scripture references in blue. This helps the Search feature find what you are looking for.

Some are hashtags. Clicking on a hashtag gives a list of other posts with that same hashtag, such as #Matt_5.

Below that, at the far right, is the list of categories the article is assigned to. Clicking on a category jumps to that page.
